Accessibility statement for all msk.ai products

Future Health Works Ltd. (FHW) trades as msk.ai and myrecovery. We are proud to work with people all over the world across a wide range of scenarios, languages, ages and abilities and we want as many people as possible to be able to use our services.

This accessibility statement applies to the FHW mobile application (including the myrecovery app and all other customised flavours); the FHW dashboard and all FHW websites (e.g. msk.ai & jointschool.app).

A key part of what we do is enabling healthcare professionals to customise the app and the dashboard to match their treatment pathways. The high level of customisation means that we cannot always guarantee that the app or dashboard will satisfy all accessibility guidelines. We will always encourage our partners to use language that is simple to understand and to choose accessible colour palettes.

We strive to follow accessibility guidelines to help ensure a smooth experience for all app and dashboard users and website visitors.

This includes, for example, adding item labels for audio screen readers and assessing the colours and contrast ratios in the app against accessibility guidelines.

If you have a suggestion for how we could make your app easier to use, please let us know by emailing help@appsupport.team.

We have included an overview below of some of the settings that can help make your phone or tablet easier to use.

The website AbilityNet also has useful articles on making your computer and/or mobile device easier to use.

Making your iPhone or iPad easier to use

Apple devices have a number of customisable settings and features that can help make the whole phone or tablet easier to use. You will find these by tapping on the Settings and scrolling down to Accessibility.

Vision

Some great examples include:

  • Spoken Content where you can enable Speak Selection and Speak Screen to hear a description of the content of the screen.
  • The Zoom function which, when turned on, will magnify the entire screen of your device when you double-tap with three fingers on the screen.
  • Display & Text Size, which can enable you to make the text displayed within apps bold.

Hearing

The videos on the Home page of your app will often have subtitles or text incorporated into the video. You can also read the script of each video by tapping on the icon furthest to the left in the video player.

  • In the Hearing section within Accessibility, you can also connect Hearing Devices and enable Audio/Visual feedback.
  • Voice Control can also be a useful feature that enables you to use your voice to control your phone or tablet.

Making your Android device easier to use

Vision

TalkBack and Select to Speak are two Android screen readers that can be turned on in the accessibility settings of your device to give spoken feedback.

Magnification is another feature found under Accessibility in the Settings on your device which enables temporary zooming or magnification of the screen.

Hearing

If your device is using Android 10.0 or later you can pair hearing aids with your device by opening the Settings and tapping on Connected devices > Pair new device.

Voice Access is another accessibility setting that enables you to control your device with spoken demands.

Feedback & contact information

We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of our websites and digital services. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, contact: help@appsupport.team. Your feedback will be reviewed by our co-founder Dr. Axel Sylvan.

Our websites are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, as some images do not have a text alternative but we will be addressing this as we work iteratively to improve our services throughout 2021.

Preparation of this accessibility statement
