We are thrilled to see the Joint School app recognised as an example for “self-guided and supported rehabilitation” under the heading: “Enhanced recovery, rehabilitation and follow-up.”

Supporting people before & after surgery

The British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) have published an excellent document to help guide the return to non-urgent orthopaedic work - the ‘next phase’ of the response to COVID-19.

The Joint School app and Joint School YouTube classes also have a role to play in supporting people who are awaiting and/or getting ready for surgery.

Please note that the advice around self-isolating or shielding has been updated since this document was released and will be guided by personal circumstances and risk factors.
